Microneedling is a skin-enhancing treatment without too many unpleasant side effects. The skin needs very little recovery time and the most sensitive part of the treatment lasts only a short time.
Microneedling softens deep wrinkles and tightens the skin. The microneedling treatment is well suited for skin with blackheads (blackheads), acne scars, coarse pores, a lot of skin relief, hyperpigmentation/pigmentation spots, Rosacea, rosacea, rosacea, dull sallow skin or cornified skin.
For best results, we usually recommend multiple treatments (it depends on the skin).
During the treatment we work with a special pen with needles. These needles go in and out of the skin very quickly to create tiny channels in the skin that you cannot see with the naked eye. The channels provide just enough stimulation to naturally boost the skin.
The thousands of microchannels created close after about 7 minutes. The natural repair and wound healing process in the skin is then stimulated. Due to the active growth and healing factors that are released as well as the fibroblasts that multiply, the production of collagen and elastin is accelerated. The results of a microneedling treatment remain visible for months. However, we always recommend maintaining the skin properly. This can be done through connective tissue massage, peels or by scheduling an occasional separate microneedling treatment.
Aftercare after a microneedling treatment
It is important to follow the right skincare routine after microneedling treatment.
You can choose between Synergy or Esse Skincare.
At Synergy, you use the Post Treatment Kit after your treatment.
At Esse the Esse Aestetics line. It is recommended that you then start using Esse Pre-Care and Activator 2 weeks before the treatment . And after the treatment, use Esse Post-Care and Activator for 2 weeks after the treatment. Additional products that are suitable: Esse Sunscreen and Esse Sensitive Cleanser.
Skin wound healing consists of a number of stages. The first phase the skin enters is the inflammation phase. This phase lasts about 24-48 hours in healthy skin. This also means that after about 24-48 hours after treatment, you will no longer have red skin.
Up to 14 days after treatment, the skin can produce new fibroblasts. The fibroblasts then produce new collagen. We like to give this collagen time to mature optimally. Therefore, this means that the interval of microneedling treatment will be between 2-4 weeks.
Skin repair process
24-48 hours after treatment, the skin may be somewhat red and swelling may be seen.
1-2 days after treatment, the skin may also feel somewhat tight and dry, and redness and swelling will decrease.
2-3 days after treatment, the above symptoms diminish.
3-4 days after the treatment, the skin looks dry
4-5 days after treatment, the skin is fully recovered and functioning normally.
