Naturally oily skin is somewhat thickened and has open pores. Makeup does not stay on well and blackheads, spots and clogs are common. Oily skin stops the first signs of skin aging but too much fat can impact skin health.
Many people think they have oily skin, and it is often difficult for skin specialists to convince clients that excessive cleansing is not the best approach. It is better to make sure that your skin regains its balance, and the best way to do this is with healthy microbes.
LIFESTYLE MODIFICATIONS
- Keep your skin’s acidity right – your products should have a ph value of between 4.5 and 5.5 and avoid products that contain alkaline.
- Avoid drying out the skin and destroying its natural protective layer, so no products containing alcohol and highly degreasing ingredients.
- Drink at least 250 ml of water per day for every 10 kg of body weight you have, so at 60 kg that is 1.5 liters of water per day.
- Some birth control pills contain high levels of androgens so it doesn’t hurt to look for alternatives with more estrogens.
