When you first come for a facial at our salon, we begin with an Observ skin analysis and discuss your needs. This is important because it is the only way we can offer tailor-made treatment. The products used and the treatment itself depend on skin type, pores, skin sensitivity and blood flow but all products are pure nature and free of harmful synthetic additives.
Because each facial is entirely personal, there are no standard routines that are completed. However, every facial does have some basic steps that are followed. We begin each facial with a brief welcome ritual consisting of a fragrance journey and scalp massage. A surface cleansing and deep cleansing are then performed where any impurities will be removed. We also run the eyebrows. After cleansing and tweezing, a wonderful facial massage follows, if desired. Finally, a mask tailored to the skin is applied. While this mask does its work, you can relax and enjoy a scalp massage.
A variety of factors from both inside and outside can reduce the condition of the skin. Examples include UV radiation, unhealthy eating, stress and hormones. A regular facial can help keep skin looking radiant despite these factors.
We currently have three experienced skin experts: Marlous, Nikki & Bente. In addition, we have Sterre who is doing an internship with us. Skin District mainly treats with the Clean brand Esse Probiotic Skincare.

The Somatic Glow Facial
The somatic facial is a profound experience in which skin care and body awareness come together.
The treatment starts with a conditioning cleansing and exfoliation to purify and refresh the skin. Then, where appropriate, a connective tissue massage is applied to stimulate circulation and energize the skin.
This is followed by somatic massage – a special touch that invites you to slow down, breathe consciously and really feel. This massage helps release tension and puts you in touch with yourself, both physically and emotionally.
