Marlous – Founder & Owner
Skin District was founded by Marlous, certified skin specialist with a passion for holistic skin improvement, clean beauty and relaxation. Through her own quest for healthier and more conscious living, she discovered the importance of pure, effective skin care and how much misleading information exists within the beauty industry.
Believing that beautiful skin starts with healthy skin, Marlous decided to retrain as a beautician and found Skin District: a holistic beauty salon in Haarlem where honest education, natural skin improvement and relaxation come together. In every treatment, she combines result-oriented skin improvement with her signature relaxing massage techniques.
Paul – Co-Owner & Host
Paul has been an indispensable link within Skin District for years and the trusted face in our store and webshop. As co-owner and host, he makes everyone feel welcome and is happy to help put together the right skincare routine, often combined with our OBSERV skin analysis for personal and targeted advice.
With his enthusiasm, knowledge and genuine attention, Paul makes every visit a pleasant experience. And have you ever ordered anything from us? Then you’ve probably seen his recognizable handwriting pass by because every order is still wrapped with a personal, handwritten thank you.
Ann – Senior Skin Specialist
With over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, Ann is a true expert in skin care and skin improvement. Thanks to her calm approach, knowledge and personal attention, each treatment feels familiar and relaxing.
Ann focuses on results-oriented treatments and has a real passion for improving skin. She also excels in the careful removal of impurities, something she is known for by our clients.
Kayla – Junior Skin Specialist
Kayla started at Skin District as a trainee beautician, but quickly stood out for her talent, ambition and fine energy. She now performs treatments independently and knows how to make clients leave happy time after time.
Kayla is known for her firm but relaxing touch and her attention to detail. Especially with precision work such as eyebrow plucking and tinting, she works incredibly accurately. With her sweet personality and enthusiasm, she is a real asset to the Skin District team and we hope she stays with us for a very long time.
Stephanie – Massage and Transformational Cupping Therapist
Stephanie specializes in transformational cupping, fire cupping, holistic relaxation massages and cesarean scar treatments. With her warm energy, intuitive approach and listening ear, she tailors each treatment completely to what a person needs at that moment.
Her treatments focus on relaxation, recovery and rebalancing the body and mind. Stephanie creates a safe and soothing environment where you can truly just relax completely.
Suzanne – Holistic Massage Therapist
Suzanne’s holistic massages are a true sensory experience. With scents, sounds, warm stones and delicious oils, she takes you on a deep relaxation journey, a moment to completely let go and reconnect with yourself.
Suzanne works intuitively, using both gentle and firm techniques, always completely tailored to what you need. Her treatments bring peace to the body and are a real gift to your nervous system.
Puck – Store Host & Skin Advisor
Our regular Saturday worker and one of the familiar faces within Skin District. With her positive energy and radiant personality, she brings fine vibes to the store every Saturday.
In addition to her warm welcome, she is happy to help you with personal advice on skincare routines and our natural clean skincare products. And even during vacation periods you’ll regularly run into her in the store.
